2. Gol D. Roger's Discovery

25 years ago, the Roger Pirates accomplished the impossible: they reached the last island of the Grand Line. They discovered Joy Boy's treasure and the truth about the world (the Void Century, the meaning of the "D," and the Ancient Weapons).

In front of the treasure, Roger and his entire crew burst out laughing, tears in their eyes. It was in response to this reaction that Roger decided to name this island "Laugh Tale" (The Funny Tale / The Story of Laughter). A fascinating theory — and a popular one in the community — suggests that Laugh Tale is actually located at the very heart of Reverse Mountain, the mysterious mountain at the entrance to the Grand Line.
